Collective Worship Overview
We enjoy spending time in our Sacred Space.
During our school's Holy Week we have had visitors to conduct our Collective Worships; they told us the story of Easter.
Our Bible story for Spring 2
Children enjoyed role playing Jesus travelling to Jerusalem.
Mr. Housam visits our school to share a Collective Worship with us every term. We really enjoy his stories.
Our Year 2 children visited our church to learn about the different parts of the church. we had a quiz! It was great! We also had a pretend wedding!
Emerald Class planned and delivered a Collective Worship to the whole school. They told the story of Zaccheus the Tax Collector.
When it was Chinese New Year we learned how people celebrate this festival and we had a workshop where we performed a Chinese Dragon Dance. It was brilliant!
We made nativity pictures.
We held our collective worship at the church hall and memorial to commemorate Remembrance.
We have Reflection Areas in our classrooms
We tried to make butter in collective worship! Mrs Roberts told us a story about perseverance which is this term's value.
The children in Sapphire class planned and prepared their own whole school collective worship. We did it today and it was great!
Reverend Lorna visited our school to deliver a collective worship all about Harvest.
Our Christian value this term is Love. Our Bible story is The Good Samaritan.
We created our own worlds as part of our work on Creation. We had great fun!
This term our Christian value is respect. The children demonstrate this value at home too. They tell us how by writing on a value card and then they share it with us all in collective worship.
