Lincolnshire Reading Pledge 

We are very proud to have achieved the Gold Award for the Lincolnshire Reading Pledge. We are committed to ensure that we develop and encourage a love of reading for every child. Reading is the golden thread which runs through both our curriculum and through the very heart of our school. The children take part in a wide variety of activities to promote reading for pleasure. These include visits to our local library, story time within school, voting for books to be read in school, family learning sessions focused around reading as well as many more exciting opportunities. 

We were privileged to be asked by the English Hib to share our Reading for Pleasure journey with other schools in the county.
