Travelling together to be 'The Best You Can Be'

  • Ambitious Curriculum: The school has designed a broad and ambitious curriculum for all pupils. It is well planned and precisely identifies what pupils will learn and when. This supports all teachers in delivering the curriculum to a high standard. As a result, all pupils, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), make excellent progress through the curriculum. - Ofsted July 2024.
  • Exceptional Teaching: Teachers have excellent subject knowledge and model new learning extremely effectively. Teachers use engaging activities to help pupils develop the knowledge and skills they need to succeed. - Ofsted July 2024
  • Exceptional Outcomes: Our pupils achieve above the National Average in all year groups. Their outcomes at the end of Foundation Stage and KS1 are exceptional. "Pupils consistently produce high-quality work. They achieve exceptionally well". - Ofsted July 2024
  • Enabling Environments: Our school is a calm and engaging place to be. Our classrooms are planned carefully to be inclusive for all children. This is equally matched by our beautiful and varied school grounds, with a meadow, forest area and multiple outdoor play spaces.
  • Excellent Behaviour: The school is calm and orderly and has high expectations of pupils’ behaviour. Staff use praise well to reinforce these expectations at every opportunity. Pupils enjoy being rewarded for their excellent behaviour. This ensures that pupils are motivated to behave and work well. Pupils show high levels of respect for each other and staff. - Ofsted July 2024
  • Extensive Enrichment: The school’s work to support pupils’ personal development is of a high quality. Through its ‘Rainbow of Opportunities’, the school provides an extensive range of high-quality extra-curricular activities. All pupils make excellent use of these. - Ofsted July 2024
  • Reading Front and Centre: We are a Lincolnshire Reading Pledge Gold Standard School, this means we take reading to the next level! We are so passionate about teaching children to read that we also help other schools transform their reading culture.  "The school is passionate that all pupils develop of a love of reading. Well-trained staff deliver phonics sessions very effectively". - Ofsted July 2024
  • Families Matter: We work closely with you as a family to ensure your child has the best experience of school that they can. We have excellent communication tools in place, we run weekly Family Learning workshops to support a whole host of needs and we offer an excellent early help service.
