Branston Church of England Infant Academy

'The Best We Can Be'

Welcome

Welcome to Branston Church of England Infant School.

I feel very privileged to be the Headteacher of Branston Church of England Infant Academy and believe that your child will have a fantastic start to their educational career with us.  We welcome children from across our community from all faiths and none.

Our school is one where everyone is valued and encouraged to take an active role in our school community.  We believe positive role models and strong, supportive relationships help children feel safe and secure enough to take the risks necessary to learn.  The skills, knowledge and dedication of all of our staff and community volunteers help to enthuse and motivate our children to achieve their very best and we provide a varied and exciting curriculum tailored to the needs and the interests of the children.

Our school was built in 1976 and our school logo dates back to this time. In July 2017, our school joined Lincoln Anglican Academy Trust (LAAT), a multi-academy trust built of church schools within Lincolnshire. Branston Church of England Infant Academy is an integral part of the community in Branston. We have close links with All Saints Church in the heart of the village. In addition, we have strong links with Branston Junior Academy, where the majority of our pupils move on to at the end of Year Two. Little Pickles Pre-School is located within our school building where the youngest member of the community start their early year’s education. Our before and after school provision is provided by ‘Big Pickles’ and is based in the Little Pickles room.

Visits to our school are warmly welcome. We all look forward to meeting you and your child.

Mrs Lianne Cook, BA Hons, QTS, NASENCO. Headteacher
